
Founded in 2006, Baby’s Cheesesteak & Lemonade was established by brothers
Hani Sughayer and Dr. MJ Sughayer.
That same year, we created what is now known throughout Chicagoland as the
Original Crispy Philly Cheesesteak — a signature born in our kitchen, inspired by family, passion, and long nights of perfecting our craft.

That creation would not have been possible without the creativity and support of our brother-in-law, Maj Hasan, who played a key role in helping bring the Original Crispy Philly Cheesesteak to life.
Our journey began long before 2006.
We grew up in our father’s restaurants, learning the business hands-on from a young age.
He instilled in us the values of discipline, consistency, and integrity — and taught us to treat every guest with respect, as if they were family.
Our mother, an incredible chef and cook for a household of nine children, shaped our love for food and hospitality from the heart.
With decades of real-world experience, we built restaurants that earned citywide recognition, media features including Chicago’s Best, industry awards, and an incredibly loyal following.
Today, our private family restaurant group proudly includes one of the most popular breakfast destinations in Orland Park, Illinois —
Eggsperts Breakfast Café —
along with valued partnerships such as Plush Horse Ice Cream in Tinley Park.
